My Teaching Philosophy

About me

How I build good relationship with my students

My point of view is that a good interaction in between a teacher and her/his students is constructed on a strong foundation of good understanding, respect, and confidence. To effectively measure learners' desires and needs, the tutor has to first comprehend her/his trainees and where they are originating from. The tutor must be the first to initiate good interaction, as not all parents and trainees will show that initiative. The teacher must likewise be willing to express her/his own hopes to the students; with a sincere mindset towards her/his students and demonstrating a concern for their study and their lives is important when doing this. In case both the teacher and students understand each other's goals and perspectives, the basement elements of mutual respect are developed. The trainees and instructors seek and should have trust as humans and individuals; teachers also seek trust in the work-related sense yet must beware the way they stick to it. As a mentor, I will remain in a position of authority, but I do not want to be an authoritarian or tyrant. I will likewise be able to be a good friend and a trusted person to much of my trainees, but I will not cross the border of professionalism.

What makes a good teacher

I am sure that in order to foster study in the very best method possible, the instructor should be enthusiastic about the material being learned, even if her/his trainees are not. The tutor should be the coach for the trainees, and stress the pros about each trainee's action in an honest method, along with impartial critical remarks. She/he needs to want to hear and compromise, yet be firm in her or his decisions and pledges.

A teacher is not just a tutor but lifetime student. That's why, she/he must likewise go on to construct her/his wealth of professional understanding, taking extra trainings, upgrading her or his level and attending seminars and forums with colleagues to interchange concepts and theories and learn innovative things in order to give her/his trainees the most updated information possible.

My viewpoint of teaching is based on exactly what I know and have experienced by this moment in my profession. I am sure that my mentor approach will alter as I find out more as a new professional. That is one of the gifts of being human; we are most likely to take wrong steps, or discover something new, and make a modification for the better. I am delighted about the upcoming opportunities.
